Ann Robinson joined Spectrum Medical Group as Chief Legal Counsel & Director of Government Affairs in January, 2016.
Ann was previously a partner at Preti Flaherty, a preeminent Maine law firm. She served as Chair of the firm's Government Affairs Practice Group for over a decade, and subsequently as a member of the firm's Management Committee. She has extensive experience in healthcare, insurance and professional regulation issues, including having served as legislative and regulatory counsel to Spectrum while at Preti Flaherty.
In 2010, Ann served as Co-Chair of Governor Paul LePage's transition team, with specific responsibility for coordinating the administration's regulatory review and reform effort. She has also served as state counsel to several presidential campaigns.
Ann is active in public service. She is presently serving as one of Maine's three commissioners on the Uniform Law Commission. She is also a member of the Maine Public Broadcasting Board of Trustees, and the Board of Directors of the Olympia Snowe Women's Leadership Institute. She is a past Director of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston and a past member of the Maine Human Rights Commission.
Ann is a graduate of Brown University (B.A.) and the University of Maine School of Law (J.D.), and is listed in Woodward/White's The Best Lawyers in America.
