Jeff is a staff Physical Therapist at Orthopaedic Associates in Portland, ME. Prior to becoming a licensed Physical Therapist he attended Husson University for his Bachelor’s in Kinesiology and Doctorate of Physical Therapy (2010). In addition he took classes focusing on athletics and sports specific injuries with specific interests in biomechanics of athletes and active individuals of all levels.
Following school and licensing he worked in a hospital based outpatient clinic in South Carolina specializing in orthopaedics. Patients included post-operative rehab, athletes of high school and collegiate levels, acute and chronic pain as well as degenerative changes. During his time in South Carolina he also volunteered at a local high school for on the field and weekend clinic to provide treatment and taping/bracing to athletes. He uses an exercise based approach with the use of manual techniques based on Kaltenborn and Mulligan principles. Jeff also had experience while attending college working as a trainer in a fitness center and providing exercise/activity classes to elementary aged kids in the school setting.
Jeff is a Maine native residing in the Sanford area, is a weekend warrior athlete of varying sports and an outdoor enthusiast.
