Erika received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the George Washington University. Prior to attending GWU, she was a middle school science teacher for four years with Teach for America in the Metro DC region. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and pre-medicine at the College of Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. While teaching, she discovered her passion for physical therapy and changed directions for further education from an MD to a DPT program. Erika has always been a competitive athlete; swimming for 12 years, competing in triathlons and collegiate, Division I rowing.
Erika has worked with a variety of patients in the orthopedic setting; mainly treating conditions of the shoulder, spine, hip and knee. Being is an avid runner, biker and weight lifter, she is excited to work with athletes and treat this population in particular.
