Dan received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of New England in 2008. Prior to attending UNE, he completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology with minors in Strength and Conditioning and Biology at the University of Delaware (UD). While at UD, Dan competed at the Division I level in cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track and was the captain of each team during his final year of schooling.
Dan has worked with a variety of patients, including recreational and professional athletes. As an avid runner, he specializes in gait analysis and running biomechanics. He has particular interest in assessing, rehabilitating, and training inefficient and injury prone runners. He also enjoys treating overuse injuries of the lower extremity and post operative knees.
Dan resides in Scarborough with his wife, two sons, and two furry trail companions. When not at home with his family, you can usually find him running on the trails or the roads. In addition to running, he enjoys mountain biking, skiing, climbing, and hiking.
